Twenty minutes of instruction from a certified skating instructor, with practice time either side that's sectioned off so you can be out there with your child. Props, toys and music, and children are grouped by ability rather than age. The fall 2026 session runs Mondays from September 21 to November 2 (no lesson October 26) at the Best & Bash Arena, $54 per child, and registration closes September 17 or when the spots are gone.

A full day on the water — bus out from the municipal office at 8:30, paddle a lake, break for a swim and lunch, and back by four. Canoes, single and double kayaks and all the safety gear are provided, with recreation staff and a fire boat on site.
